Overview

  • 5 to 15V dc supply voltage with a constant current output of 1 mA or less in the dark and 2 mA or less in the light condition
  • Intrinsically safe sensors with MINI-BEAM performance and small size
  • Available in opposed, polarized and non-polarized retroreflective, convergent, diffuse and divergent diffuse, and glass fiber optic sensing modes
  • For use with approved switching amplifiers with intrinsically safe input circuits
  • 18 mm threaded barrel or side mounting options

Ajustments15-turn slotted brass screw sensitivity (Gain) adjustment potentiometer, clutched at both ends of travel; located on rear panel of sensor and protected by a gasketed, clear acrylic cover.
IndicatorsAlignment Indicating Device system (AID) lights a rear-panel mounted red LED indicator whenever the sensor sees a light condition, with a superimposed pulse rate proportional to the light signal strength (the stronger the signal, the faster the pulse rate).
ConstructionReinforced thermoplastic polyester housing, totally encapsulated, o-ring sealing, acrylic lenses and stainless-steel screws
