Date/Lot Code Inspection on Food Packages

To verify that both a date code and a lot number are printed on bags of cookies

Description

An ink jet printer adds a date code and lot number to a designated location on each bag of cookies. If either the date code or the lot number is missing, the PresencePLUS P4 GEO sensor rejects the bag.

A convergent beam sensor triggers the inspection.
