To profile logs entering a lumber mill

Description

Two or more BEAM-ARRAY measuring light screens are positioned at different angles along the log conveyor. The serial data controller for each measuring system sends profile data to a host process controller, which calculates a milling program to maximize the board-feet of lumber from that log.
