To detect the length of a board and inspect for warping

Description

Two pairs of EZ-ARRAY measuring light curtains measure the ends of a board and sends the measurements to a PLC, which to determine the board’s length. Boards that are out of specification are rejected.

The length measurement also helps detect warped board, because bowing affects the board’s total length.
