To measure the widths of boxes on a conveyor

Description

Two L-GAGE LT3 time-of-flight laser sensors in diffuse mode measure the width of cartons of various sizes passing in different positions on a conveyor.

Each LT3 time-of-flight laser sensor measures the distance between itself and the box, and then transmits the data to a PLC, which calculates the width by subtracting the two measurements from the total distance between the sensors.
