A-GAGE MINI-ARRAY Series Controller—Sixteen Discrete Outputs
Overview
- Offers 16 to 30V dc supply voltage with either 16 NPN or 16 PNP outputs, depending on model
- Determines target object location, overall size, total height or width, using up to two of ten programmable measurement modes
- Counts the number of clear-to-blocked and blocked-to-clear transitions and then partitions the array into a maximum of 16 regions with two additional measurement modes
- Provides four configurable scanning methods
- Includes continuous or gated scanning
- Allows control of scan initiation with separate gate input
- Ignores activity in unlimited fields along the length of the array with programmable blanking
- Supports serial communication (ASCII or binary) with a host computer or PLC using RS-232 or RS-485 interface
- Includes advanced configuration software

| Sensor Scan Time | 55 microseconds per beam plus processing time. The processing time is dependent on the scan analysis and the number of active outputs. This timing assumes a straight scan, continuous and TBB mode.

| System Response Time | Outputs are not active for 5 seconds after system power up. Maximum response time for the sytem is two sensor scan cycles. A scan cycle includes a sensor scan plus any serial data transmission. Serial transmission (if activated) follows every sensor scan. |
