Large Container Detection

To detect the presence of large containers moving on a conveyor

Description

Large items, such as containers destined for the cargo hold of a plane, pass the sensor on a conveyor. Space restraints require that the sensor is mounted up to 2 meters from its targets on only one side of the conveyor.

Because the Q60 can be configured to detect targets up to 2 meters away, it can easily detect the containers as they pass. Items or personnel moving on the far side of the conveyor are not detected, because the adjustable-field sensor ignores targets beyond a defined distance.
