To detect missing surface-mount integrated circuits in a plastic tape reel
Description
Surface-mount integrated circuits are packaged in pockets on a plastic web tape. A D12 sensor with fiber optic sensing ends detects the presence of chips, triggering the machine to seal the holes beside each pocket.
