To guard the perimeter of a tube-bending machine
A MICRO-SCREEN safety light screen and two corner mirrors guard access to a tube bending machine. If the light screen is interrupted, an operator must reset the latch function before the machine can restart.
The latch/reset function is created by connecting the safety outputs of the light curtain to an emergency stop monitoring safety relay. The reset for the light screen latch is positioned where the operator has a full view of the guarded area. Where the view is blocked, supplemental guarding such as safety mats would be required.
