To verify that holes cut into a chassis are properly positioned

Description

A robotic laser-cutter cuts openings in automotive chassis sections. As each section is cut out, an L-GAGE LT3 inspects the region to verify that the hole is in its proper place. Because the sensor cannot be located inside the robot's range of motion, the LT3's long operating range is vital.
