To verify that a toggle mechanism is correctly assembled and oriented before it is added to a steering wheel
The PresencePLUS P4 GEO in an inspection station verifies that a toggle mechanism is correctly assembled and is oriented in the correct direction before it is added to a steering wheel.
Before the operator places a finger in each of the two optical touch buttons (OTBs) to start the press's cycle, the PresencePLUS P4 GEO verifies the presence of four buttons on the toggle mechanism of a steering wheel assembly.
The P4 GEO uses four Geometric Count tools to verify the correct location and orientation of each of the buttons on the steering wheel.
