As a 40-inch-wide web of spliced rubber sheets pass above a fluorescent light, a PresencePLUS P4 EDGE 1.3 vision sensor mounted 4 feet above the light checks for imperfect splices by detecting dog ears at either end and gaps along the width of the material.
