To detect presence or absence of information printed on a small object
A D11 Expert Series sensor with a green light source, combined with plastic fiber optic cables and a convergent lens, detect labeling on integrated circuits.
Through push-button programming, the D11 Expert in TEACH mode learns the difference between the presence and absence of printing. The convergent lens is positioned 6 mm (0.24") from the surface of the integrated circuit.
The individual plastic fibers of the second D11 Expert, in the opposed sensing mode, act as a trigger.
