The sensor's
repeatability specification is based on the transition from dark to light, or the leading edge. Counting
modulated pulses is not considered for each light-to-dark transition, or the trailing edge.
The sensor repeatability specified is a "worst case" value, which can be relied upon when evaluating high-speed applications where repeat accuracy is important.
