Predictive Maintenance Made Easy with Banner's Wireless Vibration Solution
Wireless Vibration Monitor Makes Condition Monitoring Easy
Banner's wireless vibration and temperature sensors are meant to serve as a "check engine light" for machines. The sensors are defaulted to measure RMS velocity, which provides the most uniform measurement of vibration over a wide range of machine frequencies. They can be easily mounted using a standard bracket, a magnetic bracket, or a two-sided thermal transfer mounting tape. The sensors are designed to work with multiple Banner wireless nodes.
After mounting the vibration sensor, collect enough vibration data to establish a baseline for the machine. Initially set the threshold at 1.5 or 2 times the baseline. When the threshold has been exceeded, the Q45VT can provide local indication, the signal can be sent to a wireless TL70 Tower Light on a central location, or an email or text alert can be sent. The vibration and temperature data can also be sent to a DXM100 Wireless Logic Controller or PLC for collection and analysis.
The QM42VT Vibration and Temperature Sensor makes it easy to monitor a machine's health. It measures RMS velocity and temperature so that problems can be detected before they become too severe and cause additional damage or result in unplanned downtime. Paired with a Banner wireless Node, it can provide local indication, wirelessly send the signal to a central location, and send the vibration and temperature data to the Gateway for collection and trending.
