QS30LDL Dynamic TEACH

In this video, we'll show how to set the dynamic teach for the QS30 laser diffuse sensor.

This mode is typically used when the machine or process cannot be stopped and the sensor senses the changing condition during teach mode setup and is commonly used in web applications.

To enter dynamic teach mode, press and hold the dynamic teach plus button until LEDs 7 and 8 flash.

Continue to hold the plus button while on and off conditions pass by the sensor, which we're simulating with this color card.

Release the button after a sampling of switching conditions have been logged by the sensor.

The bar graph will show the quality of the contrast between switching points on a scale of 1 to 8 with 8 being the best.

Then the sensor returns to run mode.
