Watch this video to learn how to set up the SD50 Status Display in Sequence mode.
This is a quick how-to video that will cover the basics for configuring the sequence mode for the SD50 Status Display from Banner Engineering.
Begin by connecting the SD50 to your Windows PC using the Pro Converter Cable kit, and by following the diagram in the manual.
If you're having trouble connecting, check out our troubleshooting guide for the Banner Pro Editor software.
Once you have connected to the software, click the sequence icon.
Sequence mode allows up to 16 states, all controlled by a single input wire.
Each time a signal is sent through the assigned input, the display will change to the next state in the sequence.
At the top of this section are a few settings that should be selected first.
Since only one wire is required to activate each state, you can assign the input signal to any available wire via the next state input dropdown menu.
If your application requires the ability to reset the sequence partway through, select a wire from the reset state input menu to control where to send the reset signal.
You may also choose the number of states to include in the sequence, with the maximum being 16 states.
Each state can be configured to show one of seven animations with 14 color options, as well as a unique line of text.
You can preview the selected settings by clicking the start button.
When you're finished selecting an animation and text for each state, click Write Device Settings to send the configuration to the SD50.
Additional formatting options are available in the Advanced Settings menu, including text color, text brightness, scroll direction, connector orientation, and more.
Click Write to send these settings to the SD50.
That covers the basics of the SD50 sequence mode.
