Working with the unconfirmed configuration from out last tutorial, let's look at parameter setting options for the application that can be tailored to fit specific safety design requirements.
With safety devices, in addition to altering the input configurations, we can change wiring pin assignments, default names, as well as change advance settings such as debounce times and input monitoring functions.
For logic blocks, in addition to changing the number of inputs, we can invert inputs and outputs as needed for the application.
Also observe the Info Button in the upper left hand corner, which gives access to the safety controller's manual for details related to the specific function.
Please remember to read the instructions and warnings in the product manual and follow the commissioning and periodic check out procedures for the application.
Additionally, application specific function blocks such as muting and safety outputs have optional settings that can be adjusted.
