    Versatile Safety Controllers For a Wide Variety of Machines - Now Available with PROFINET

    The SC26-2 is a compact, fully configurable safety controller used to monitor multiple safety and non-safety input devices, providing safe stop and start functions for machines with hazardous motion. The XS26-2 is a scalable version of the SC26-2 that meets diverse automation requirements by supporting the addition of up to eight expansion I/O modules. Both safety controllers are now available with PROFINET.

    • Icon-based configuration software makes it easy to define connected devices and the outputs each device controls
    • Live display feature and diagnostics for active monitoring of I/O on a PC, troubleshooting, and commissioning
    • Pre-configured safety function blocks simplify configuration, streamline operation, and improve functionality
    • Track function block status output indicates the state of a particular function block
    • Up to 256 virtual status outputs can send non-safety status signals to PLCs, indicator lights, and similar devices
