    • Banner Engineering Expands Presence in Southeast Asia with New Joint Venture

    MINNEAPOLIS, MN, April 17, 2018 – Banner Engineering, a leading provider of technology for industrial automation, today announced the opening of Turck Banner Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

    Turck Banner Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. joins Turck Banner Singapore Pte. Ltd. to become the second joint venture for Banner Engineering and Turck in the ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) region. The Petaling Jaya office will provide sales and technical support as well as value added services for customers and partner companies in Malaysia and across the region.

    “The opening of Turck Banner Malaysia demonstrates our commitment to this important market and is a natural extension of our international strategy for growth,” said Patrick Maguire, Senior Business Development Director for Asia, Banner Engineering. “We will be well positioned to collaborate with our partners, to develop new, integrated solutions that better meet the needs of our customers throughout Southeast Asia.”  

    A ribbon cutting ceremony in honor of the new venture was held on March 15, 2018. The event was led by Darren Chan, Managing director for Turck Banner Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and attended by senior representatives of Banner Engineering and Turck. Also in attendance were regional customers, partner companies, and Chuck Choi, Managing Director of Turck Banner Singapore Pte. Ltd., the company’s regional headquarters.

    The partnership between Banner Engineering and Turck in Southeast Asia is the most recent joint venture for the two companies. They have been successfully cooperating in Europe for many years, with joint ventures in England, France, and Italy.
