Banner’s BCS1 Miniature Slot Sensor delivers fast, precise, reliable sensing for many different applications, combining an opposed mode emitter and receiver in one cost-efficient, space-saving design. This design allows many sensors to be installed on a machine while remaining unobtrusive and minimizing costs. Several housing shapes are available, giving builders flexibility in choosing the appropriate sensor to fit application and mounting needs. The fast response times—up to 3 kHz—provide quick and accurate detection for proper equipment positioning, reducing defects in high-precision applications such as EV battery or semiconductor manufacturing. Visible from multiple angles, the bright red LED indicator quickly communicates whether the sensing beam has been broken or not.
