Whether calling for parts, calling for pickup, or calling for a supervisor, communication between stationary workers and mobile responders is vital for smooth production.

But it’s difficult to be efficient when communication is performed on phone systems or through a shared call system; but what if interruptions from poor coordination could be eliminated, and calls be dispersed in the order they were requested?

Gain control and reduce wait times with Banner Engineering’s Call-for-Parts solution.

Our call-for-parts solution consists of a DXM wireless controller and two types of interface devices: Banner’s Wireless K70 touch indicators for operator requests, and Banner’s Direct Select operator interfaces for mobile responders.

The DXM simultaneously connects all the wireless devices while also creating a dynamic queue.

When a station worker needs assistance, they push their K70 indicator and the station number is automatically added to the bottom of the job queue.

As mobile response units become available for new tasks, requests are pushed out to all available workers, and the first to accept the job receives it.

As older jobs are completed, newer ones move up in the queue, ensuring minimal downtime, and that no request goes ignored.

If you have vital work stations that always require immediate attention, priority tags can be assigned to automatically move them to the top of the list. Plus, the DXM allows you to push data to PLCs and other logistics devices around your factory, or upload data to Banner’s Cloud data Services for dashboard visualizations.

All of this and more is done right inside the DXM controller.

And with the ability to support up to forty-seven worker devices, attain levels of large-scale coordination never before possible.

Minimize wait times and make your production run smoothly by switching to Banner’s Call for Parts Solution, available only from Banner Engineering.
