Discrete DX80 Gateways

Overview

A master communication device used to control and initiate commands to other devices in a wireless network using Discrete inputs and outputs.

  • Each Gateway hosts one or more Nodes in the same frequency band.
    • The Gateway can act as a master device in a star topology, controlling input-to-output mapping.
    • The Gateway acts as a Modbus slave in a host control system using RS-485 Modbus RTU.
    • To relay mapped I/O longer distances, a Gateway can be positioned between two Nodes to increase range.
  • 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz frequency models are available to accommodate worldwide communication standards.
  • Models are available with analog and/or discrete I/O.
  • Menu and configuration access push buttons provide click-through menu-driven configuration of basic network settings.
  • Rotary switches for network identity and device address are easy to set and change.
  • Gateways require 10 to 30V dc line power.
  • Models with internal or external antennas are available, depending on range.
  • Wiring terminals are accessible without removal from mounting.
  • Base is designed for four-point flat mounting or DIN-rail mounting.
  • Housing is rated IEC IP67; NEMA 6 for long-lasting performance in rugged environments.
