Pallet Detection

To detect the presence of a pallet regardless of the size or shape of its load

In a materials handling application, the presence of pallets with irregularly shaped loads must be sensed reliably. The U-GAGE QT50U mounted above the sensing location is taught the distance to the floor.

When a pallet of any size or shape is in the sensing location, the sensor does not sense the floor and turns its output ON, signaling that a pallet is ready to be loaded.
