User Configuration Tool

The User Configuration Tool allows a user to map the I/O between a Gateway and its Nodes. This tool requires Banner's USB to RS-485 adapter cable. Before installing the User Configuration Tool, read these instructions. Install the software before plugging a Gateway into your computer.

To install the User Configuration Tool, click on one of the following UCT software links to download the software, then double click the .MSI files:

• Windows 32-bit version: UCT v2.5.6 (32-bit version)
• Windows 64-bit version: UCT v2.5.6 (64-bit version).

For instructions how to determine if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows, go to this Microsoft support page.

RS485 to USB Adapter Cable

BWA-UCT-900 RS485 to USB adapter cable is used to connect the DX80 Gateway to a computer. Once connected, special software is used to configure the wireless devices. 140377

MultiHop Configuration Tool

Configuration is made easy with the MultiHop Radio Configuration Tool, a software program similar to the User Configuration Tool used with the DX80 wireless products. Download either the 32-bit or 64-bit version.

Ethernet Data Radio

To detect or change the IP address of your Ethernet Data Radio, use the IP Changer Utility. This utility allows you to change the IP address, network mask, and password of your Ethernet Data Radio. Once the IP address is configured, you can access the Web-based configuration pages from this utility.
