The DX80...C designation refers to the model number. Any model number ending in C identifies the IP20 housing style with external terminal blocks. The 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz communication frequencies accommodate world-wide communication standards and allow users to access hard-to-reach locations where wiring and conduit are not practical.

The DX80...C models are enclosure-ready IP20 housings with external terminal strips for easy wiring and installation. All DX80 Gateway and Node I/O options are available in this low-profile housing except the integrated battery models.

ATEX Certificate of Compliance
The DX99 FlexPower® Nodes are certified for use in a variety of hazardous locations and come in two housing types: polycarbonate or metal. The polycarbonate DX99 FlexPower Nodes must be powered by the DX81H Battery Module (sold separately). The DX99 FlexPower Nodes inside a metal housing are powered by a lithium "D" cell integrated into the housing.
