DX80...C Models

The DX80...C designation refers to the model number. Any model number ending in C identifies the IP20 housing style with external terminal blocks. For example, the first image shows the IP67 housing version while the second image, the DX80...C image, shows the IP20 housing model.

To simplify the certifications, we have created a reference guide that lists all CSA and ATEX certifications by model, defines the environments, and explains the codes used on ATEX certificates.

  • Access hard-to-reach locations, install where wiring and conduit are not practical
  • Multi-layer security protocol

  • State-of-the-art combination of wireless communication, battery technology, and intrinsically safe electronics
  • Certified for operation in the following locations: Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D and Zone 0 (Group IIC)

  • Battery-based power supply provides power for third-party 4-20 mA and NAMUR process sensors
    • Metal housing devices include a 3.6V D cell lithium battery integrated into the housing
