Easy-to-See and Simple to Use Operator Interaction
Designed to enhance and improve industrial workstations, the TL50 Basic Andon Tower Light is a tower light and a control box combination for easy-to-see status. These 3 or 4 segment tower light assemblies are rugged, versatile, easy to install, and simple to operate. The control box features capacitive touch buttons for built-in reliability; simply activate or deactivate tower light segments with quick touch or press-and-hold hold functionality.
Illuminated Color Segments with Andon
Andon lights are crucial for maintaining efficient productivity and reducing downtime spent troubleshooting problems. Most often used to provide workstation status in call-for-parts and packing/fulfillment, the Andon can be used to signal changes in status so others can quickly identify and respond to issues. The TL50 Andon Tower light is locally operated to give operators complete control. Choose from 3 or 4 segments, and for added functionality, with or without omnidirectional audible. Unlike other color-lensed tower lights in the market, the TL50 Andon’s translucent grey segments show no color when off, eliminating false indication from ambient light.
Status LEDs Mimic Tower Status
The control box uses status LEDs to mimic the tower light status color and animation. This allows workers to see which status is showing without having to stop to look up at the tower light. To prevent confusion to button functionality, the white area next to the buttons on the control box is space for users to write what each status means. Having an easy and quick way to see status helps reduce time troubleshooting issues while improving efficiency.
Capacitive Touch Buttons for Ease of Use
Unlike traditional mechanical Andon buttons, the control box features capacitive touch buttons for built-in reliability. With touch button control, users can operate the control box with gloves on or off. A quick tap of the button turns the corresponding status LED and tower light segment on or off. Additionally, operators touch and hold the button for one second to activate the flashing function. For added flexibility, there are 3, 4, and 5 integral capacitive touch button options based on needed functionality.
Simple to Install
Quick installation enables operators to continue production with minimal disruption. Featuring an entirely all-in-one design, simply connect to local DC power supply or Banner PSW-24-1 into an existing outlet to get started. The TL50 Andon comes with 3 options for pre-assembled stand-off pipe lengths: 300 mm, 600 mm, or 900 mm, and includes a 4-pin threaded M12 connector for ease of installation.
