This video will demonstrate how Banner's Q4X can solve even the most challenging applications. Using two-point static background suppression teach mode, the Q4X can reliably detect the presence of black foam in front of black plastic on a door panel.

This video will demonstrate how Banner’s Q4X can solve even the most challenging applications.

Using two point static background suppression teach mode the Q4X can reliably detect the presence of black foam in front of black plastic on a door panel.

From factory default the Q4X is set to 2 point teach mode, and light operate, meaning the sensor is ready to be taught right out of the box.

To enter teach mode press TEACH for more than two seconds.

Present your first target, the foam present condition, and press TEACH.

Now present your second target, foam absent, and press teach again.

A single switch point is set in the center of the two taught targets.

In only a few button clicks the Q4X can reliably detect the dark foam, in front of a dark background.
