Create Graphs
Use the Data Graphs screen to graphically plot and compare registers collected from your devices. To begin, navigate to the Data Graphs page from the left menu.
To populate the Data Graphs page, follow these steps:
- Select +New Graph.
- Enter the desired Graph Name and select the Company from the drop-down list.
- Select Save.
- Click +Add New Item at the bottom of the page.
- Select the Gateway and the desired data from the register list.
- Click Add Item.
- Continue to select inputs from this or other DXM Wireless Controller(s) and add the data points to the graph.
In the example shown below, four registers are graphed from a DXM controller running a vibration monitoring application. You may select to view the data over the last day, 6 Hours, 12 Hours, 24 Hours, or a custom date range. You may also change the color of each individual line and assign each register to a different Y-axis. This can be useful for evaluating data of different types (e.g., temperature and vibration velocity).
**Pro Tip: By dragging your mouse to highlight a section of the graph you can zoom in to see a particular set of data points.
After the data inputs are defined, save the template by going to the bottom of the page and clicking Save. Reload the graph from the Data Graphs page by clicking on the company the graph was saved under and selecting the graph from the drop-down list. Graphs can be used by any user within the defined company group.
Click Reset Graph to update the displayed data and/or go back to the original zoom level.
